Visit from Max Jacobsen
JFK was in Palm Beach, Florida along with an ill-feeling Jackie. Kennedy summoned Jacobsen from New York City and met him in the rented house he was staying in. Bluntly dispensing with formalities, he told the notorious “Dr. Feelgood” that he was worried that Jackie was too frail to accompany him on his upcoming trips to Canada and Europe.
