On a busy travel day before his trip out west, JFK started in New York City. He caught a 12:45 flight on American Airlines (Flight 433) scheduled to leave at 12:45 and arrived in Washington, D.C. at a little past 2 PM
Later in the day, he traveled to Studio A at 4001 Nebraska Avenue, N. W. for an interview on Meet The Press. Afterwards, he traveled back to New York City, on Eastern Flight 58. His instructions were to ask for a Don LeFeber at the ticket counter for some unknown business.
Kennedy arrived at LaGuardia Airport at around half-past 8 and was met by Harvey Strauss. He then made a quick jump to Idlewood Airport across the NYC metro area for his overnight flight at 9:15 pm on Northwest to the West Coast.
