JFK made a whirlwind campaign stop in Richmond, Indiana but to the disappointment of the crowd, he was unable to speak because of a case of laryngitis.
Flying into the Richmond Municipal Ariport he motored downtown to a gathering where his speech was read to the crowd, made a quick trip to nearby Earlham, and also visited Holy Family Church.
